Ramona Blackledge, the Jones County Tax Collector, is also a fantastic singer/songwriter. She has recorded a new CD of her original songs, many in the style of classic American Songbook singers like Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, and Doris Day.
This concert will also include an appearance by Ramona's producer, pianist Andrew Ishee. Come enjoy this laughter and fun filled musical night, and help Ramona celebrate the release of this beautiful new CD.
Andrew Ishee and Jeremy Wilkerson will present a Branson Style Musical Spectacular at Beauvoir, the historic home and Presidential Library of Jefferson Davis in Biloxi, MS, on May 17, 2016. The show begins at 10:00 AM and again at 11:15 AM. The show cost, $12, includes tours and admission to the Mansion and Library. The show will be held in the state-of-the art theater on the first floor of the Presidential Library, and will feature music, comedy, and uplifting fun from two acclaimed Mississippi performers. Andrew Ishee is a GMA Hall of Fame member and a nationally renowned pianist. He has accompanied John Conlee, Ronnie McDowell, The Kingsmen, Bill Gaither and countless others. After a decade performing on the road he now leads music/worship at Life Church in Laurel, MS. Andrew is known as the “Liberace” or “Dino” of the Musical Spectacular.
Jeremy Wilkerson is a career singer/musician who earned his notoriety in Branson, MO performing in theatres and as a lead vocalist for The Cumberland Quartet and later the Spoken 4 Quartet. Jeremy now lives in Gulfport, MS and leads music/worship at Campground Baptist Church. He is the golden voice of the Musical Spectacular show.
